That’s why we recently made a significant donation of essential clothing items, including coats, shoes, boots, trousers, and sweatshirts, to Emmanuel House Support Centre.
We understand that these items will serve a dual purpose. Some will go directly to individuals experiencing homelessness, providing immediate relief and warmth, particularly during the colder months. Others will be sold through Emmanuel House’s charity shop, generating vital income to support their incredible programs.
Mi Hub’s contribution will help those facing unimaginable challenges. Homelessness is a growing issue, and we are proud to stand alongside Emmanuel House as they continue their mission to provide support and recovery for those in need.
The statistics shared by Emmanuel House are sobering. The past year has seen record numbers of people sleeping rough, and many others remain hidden from view - staying with friends, living in temporary accommodations, or sleeping in cars. Add to this the ongoing affordable housing crisis, and it’s clear that the need for support has never been more urgent.
