Mi Hub installs 72 solar panels at Castle Donington HQ, generating clean energy and marking a major step toward carbon net zero.
In February 2025, Mi Hub took an exciting and impactful step towards a greener future with the installation of solar panels at our Castle Donington Head Office. This marks the start of a new chapter in our sustainability journey, one where we begin generating our own renewable energy onsite.
A total of 72 solar panels have now been installed on the roof of our HQ, and they’re already making a difference. In just the first three months of operation (from February to May) they’ve generated over 9,000 kWh of electricity. That’s enough energy to power three average homes for a full year.
Looking ahead, we expect these panels to supply around 10% of our Castle Donington office’s annual energy needs. It's a tangible milestone as we work towards our long-term goal of becoming carbon net zero.
This investment reflects our commitment to reducing our environmental impact and playing an active role in creating a more sustainable, energy-conscious future.
