Philip Ellis joins Mi Hub as new Chief Operating Officer.
Mi Hub, with offices in the UK, Europe, US and Asia, is an international supplier of corporate clothing uniform solutions to businesses and individuals, trading through its Dimensions, Affinity, Yaffy and Alexandra brands and collectively employs more than 800 people across the group.
Steeped in knowledge and expertise on delivering successful clothing solutions for people at work, the group provides a unique worldwide capability. With the group’s scale, extensive international supply chain and distribution network, Mi Hub is able to offer a truly bespoke and flexible service package to suit the individual.
Mi Hub’s transformation strategy has seen it streamline processes across its Dimensions, Affinity, Yaffy and Alexandra brands, to shape the business for the future so that they remain competitive in the marketplace and have the unique capability to service a global market with world-class solutions.
As part of the transformation strategy, the latest appointment to the Mi Hub senior management team comes in the form of senior executive, Philip Ellis.
Philip has over 30 years’ professional experience working across both private and public limited companies across the world, most recently with Spectrum Brands – Armitages Pet Products - and for Intercarabao Limited (makers of Carabao Energy Drink).
Philip brings with him vast experience in strategic planning, sourcing, logistics, operational improvements, and general management. Philip’s prior global experience - working in China, Brazil, and the US - as COO for PE-backed businesses complements the position at Mi Hub.
Speaking of the move, Philip states:
“There will always be a place for uniforms with customers globally and this, added to the service-centric DNA of the company, just feels like a great fit for my experience.”
Philip speaks of the “vibrant passion for Mi Hub and the brands under the company fascia” and looks forward to contributing to the group.
Amid challenges facing the economy that most businesses will experience, Philip hopes to bring his knowledge and leadership skills to support the Mi Hub group and counter these potential challenges.
