Disability Confident will help Mi Hub recruit, retain and develop disabled people who will help our business to succeed. The Disability Confident badge will also show disabled people that we recognise the value they can bring to our business - putting us ahead in the search for talent.

With the accreditation, Mi Hub can help ensure that every disabled person has the opportunity to succeed whilst working at Mi Hub and all our brands, whilst giving our business the opportunity to prosper.
Accreditation for a Disability Confident Committed employer lasts for 3 years. Being Disability Confident is a unique opportunity to lead the way in our community, and we might just discover someone our business cannot do without.
To achieve the Disability Confident Committed Employer status we have considered the 5 commitments below:
- Ensure our recruitment process is inclusive and accessible
- Communicate and promote vacancies
- Offer an interview to disabled people
- Anticipate and provide reasonable adjustments as required
- Support any existing employee who acquires a disability or long-term health condition, enabling them to stay in work
In addition, we have committed to carry out at least one activity that will make a difference to disabled people. The Compliance team are taking on a work experience placement through Leonard Cheshire, whereby we will offer a paid internship to a university student with a disability for the summer.
