Mi Hub becomes member of Derbyshire Wildlife Trust

Mi Hub is pleased to announce that we have become a member of Derbyshire Wildlife Trust. 

By becoming a member of Derbyshire Wildlife Trust we will help look after local wildlife and the amazing wild places in our area.

We're joining a community of like-minded local businesses and supporting Derbyshire Wildlife Trust in all areas of their work, including conservation, campaigning and inspiring the local communities about nature.

• Bring vulnerable species back - from beavers to water voles
• Stand up for wildlife and campaign for its protection
• Restore landscapes across the county and turn them into havens for wildlife
• Care for 50 wild spaces - from ancient woodlands to precious wetlands

The partnership with Derbyshire Wildlife Trust aligns with the SDGs (Social Development Goals) that are most relevant to our business operations and the types of products that we manufacture, and supports Mi Hub's ESG strategy including our environment and people pillars:

  Wild Workdays 

Benefit nature and the local community. Mi Hub colleagues can access 6 x ½ days per year where employees can join team building sessions and volunteer during working hours. 

  Team Wilder Talks, Tours and Workshops

Inspire and empower Mi Hub employees. Mi Hub colleagues can access 2 talks/workshops/tours. Talks can be hosted online which will allow for all Mi Hub colleagues and office locations to participate. Tours are organised at one of nine local nature reserve with knowledgeable Living Landscape Officers who manage them.
