Dimensions Supports Greggs Foundation Charity Walk 2026
Dimensions joined Greggs Foundation’s annual charity walk through Teesdale, supporting breakfast clubs for children across the UK.
For another year, Dimensions was proud to join the Greggs Foundation annual charity walk, alongside colleagues, partners and supporters raising funds for The Foundation’s Feeding Brighter Futures Programme, supporting schools by funding equal access to opportunities during breakfast and after school clubs, holidays clubs and during school trips.
On 14th May 2026, Commercial Director Ian McGinty and Account Manager Kara McElhinney joined more than 160 Greggs colleagues and partners for the 12-mile walk through the stunning Teesdale countryside.
While the scenery was beautiful, the weather certainly kept everyone on their toes. From sunshine to heavy rain and even hail, walkers experienced almost every type of weather imaginable throughout the day, but despite the challenging conditions, spirits remained high from start to finish.
We were pleased to support the event by supplying the official event T-shirts, helping participants come together and show their support for the incredible work carried out by the Greggs Foundation.
Greggs has been a valued Dimensions customer for over a decade, and we are proud to continue supporting both the business and the charitable initiatives that make such a positive difference within local communities.
Dimensions became a supporter of the Greggs Foundation Breakfast Club Programme in 2016, specifically helping to provide breakfasts for children from food-insecure households. Each year, Dimensions donates 7,600 breakfasts and, since the partnership began, has contributed a total of 76,000 breakfasts.
The Greggs Foundation’s Feeding Brighter Futures programme continues to provide children with access to a free, nutritious breakfast, and also supports with after school, holiday funding and other enrichment activities.
Speaking after the event, Ian McGinty said:
“It was fantastic to once again take part in such an important event alongside the Greggs Foundation and Greggs teams and wonderful partners. Despite the unpredictable weather, the atmosphere throughout the day was incredibly positive, and it was inspiring to see so many people coming together to support the amazing work of the Greggs Foundation.”
Partnership and Events Manager at Greggs Foundation, Lynne Hindmarch said:
“We truly value our partnership with Dimensions, your enthusiasm and support make a real difference to the Greggs Foundation. Thank you for helping us spread the word and being such an important part of our journey.”
Everyone at Dimensions would like to congratulate all those who took part and helped make this year’s walk another fantastic success.
