We’re proud to announce that Monique Garbutt, a dedicated Tesco colleague, has been named as our second Uniform Hero of 2025.
The Uniform Hero campaign shines a light on the everyday heroes who wear their uniforms with pride and make a real difference for customers, colleagues, and communities. Monique's entry stood out for her vibrant personality, warm approach, and the pride she takes in wearing her Tesco uniform every day.
Armed with a big box of prizes, including a £200 voucher, the Mi Hub team arrived at Tesco Express to deliver the exciting news in person. For Monique, her uniform isn’t just something she wears, it’s a bold reflection of who she is. Her bright, friendly personality means customers always know they’ll be welcomed with a smile and a chat. Her uniform helps her stand out and gives her a true sense of belonging at work.
Monique reminds us that a uniform is so much more than workwear, it’s about feeling recognised, connected, and proud of the role you play.

International Uniform Week is Mi Hub's annual celebration dedicated to shining a spotlight on the people behind the uniforms, and the pride, belonging and individuality they bring to every shift.
Each February, International Uniform Week marks the launch of Mi Hub’s global search for our next Uniform Heroes. The campaign is all about recognising the everyday champions who go above and beyond while wearing their uniform, whether that’s on the shop floor, out in the community, or working behind the scenes.
Mi Hub introduced International Uniform Week and our Uniform Hero campaign in 2023, in partnership with our family of brands, including Derby-based Dimensions, US-based Affinity, Cambuslang-based Yaffy, and Bristol-based Alexandra. The first year saw two incredible wearers: Royal Mail Postie Terence and NHS Occupational Therapist Emily, surprised at work with a box of thoughtful goodies, including a personalised teddy dressed just like them.
Now in 2025, the tradition continues. We’ve already crowned two inspiring Uniform Heroes this year: Samima, our first winner, recognised for her dedication and kindness in the workplace, and now Monique, who shows just how much a uniform can reflect your personality and help you feel part of something bigger.
At its heart, the campaign is about what wearing a uniform means to each person, whether that’s representing their organisation with pride, feeling connected to a team, or simply showing up every day ready to make a difference. No two stories are ever the same, and that’s exactly why we celebrate them.
