Mi Hub is proud to have been placed at number 35 in the University of Derby’s Top 200 Businesses list for 2025, an annual index celebrating the strength, scale and contribution of Derbyshire’s most influential private-sector organisations.
This year’s ranking acknowledges the resilience and growth of the region’s economy and highlights Derby’s position as a hub for innovation, particularly in transport and high-growth sectors. It also recognises the role that businesses like Mi Hub play in supporting employment, investment and innovation across Derbyshire.
Mi Hub was delighted to join fellow organisations at the University of Derby’s Autumn Budget Reflection and Top 200 Derbyshire Businesses Celebration on Tuesday 2nd December, held at the Cavendish Building in Derby.
The event brought together business leaders from across the county, offering space to reflect on the Autumn Budget and discuss how national policy will influence Derbyshire’s economic landscape.

The University of Derby’s Top 200 list ranks all active businesses in Derby and Derbyshire by turnover, a simple but powerful measure of growth and relative positioning. The 2025 listing was compiled from publicly available information for the financial period 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024, drawing on Companies House and FAME data.
This rigorous methodology ensures the list celebrates companies that are truly contributing to Derbyshire’s thriving economy.
